传统社会的基层区划之演变及其分化，乃是特定的地理环境与社会政策相结合的产物。宁国府基层区划的演变，与各县的地理环境与人文传统差异息息相关。太平县的虚图，是皖南商业社会的特殊产物；宣城县、南陵县的团制，是发轫于平原圩区的基层设置；寄庄作为区域经济交流的一个侧面，折射出南部山区商业资本流向北部圩区的社会现象。探析基层区划的演变及其治理，有助于理解宁国府社会变迁的本质，并可为皖南区域的社会比较提供参照。
Abstract:
The evolution and differentiation of grassroots districts in Ningguo Prefecture, is a product of particular geographical environment and social policy. The “Xu-tu”（虚图）in Taiping County is a particular settings of Southern Anhui commercial society. The plain polder grassroots settings which names “Tuan-Zhi”（团制）is distributed in Xuancheng County and Nanling County. As a side of economic exchanges between southern mountain areas and northern polder areas, “Ji-zhuang”（寄庄）is a social phenomena in Ningguo Prefecture. This fact helps to enhance systematic understanding and comparison of local social change in southern Anhui.
