扬州与运河息息相关，扬州文化也有着深厚的运河底色，其间虽几经沉浮，但不失其浓郁之底蕴。当前，在推进大运河文化带建设、大运河国家文化公园建设的国家战略背景下，扬州文化的传承与创新迎来了新的历史机遇，保护、传承、利用好扬州文化，对于建设好大运河文化带、弘扬大运河文化、讲好大运河故事等有着重要的现实意义。要回答什么是扬州文化、如何传承扬州文化等问题，就需要厘清扬州的历史文脉，从多个维度来解读分析扬州文化形象，进而提取并传承扬州文化内在的文化基因。

Under the background of promoting the construction of the Grand Canal Cultural Belt and the Grand Canal National Cultural Park, the inheritance and innovation of Yangzhou culture have ushered in a new historical opportunity. Protecting, inheriting and making good use of Yangzhou culture has great practical significance for that carrying forward the Grand Canal culture, telling the stories of the Grand Canal and building the Grand Canal Cultural Belt. To answer the question of what is Yangzhou culture and how to inherit Yangzhou culture, it is necessary to clarify the historical context of Yangzhou culture, understand and interpret the cultural image of Yangzhou from many different dimensions, and extract and inherit the internal cultural genes of Yangzhou culture.
