摘要:
民国时期是我国传统畜牧业向现代畜牧业发展的重要转折期，也是传统畜牧科技与近现代畜牧科技相互交汇、融合发展的重要时期。民国时期我国开始采用现代遗传育种和科学养殖技术选育猪、牛、羊、马、鸡等畜禽品种，取得了具有划时代意义的成果，为新中国的畜禽繁育和畜牧业发展奠定了良好基础，对当前我国现代畜牧业转型发展也有一定的参考借鉴意义。
Abstract:
The period of the Republic of China （1912-1949） was an important turning point from traditional to modern animal husbandry development. It was also a crucial time when traditional and modern husbandry technologies underwent mutual intersection, integration and development. The breed improvement of pigs, cattle, sheep, horses and chickens in this period employed modern genetic breeding and scientific farming techniques, which made an epoch-making achievement. It has laid a good foundation for the development of livestock and poultry breeding as well as animal husbandry in the People’s Republic of China. It would provide valuable reference and suggestions for the transformation and development of modern animal husbandry industry in China.
