基于《人民日报》40多年来(1972-2016)转基因新闻报道,考察不同时期主流媒体塑造的转基因技术形象变迁及其变迁原因。研究发现:《人民日报》塑造的转基因技术形象为“神奇的魔术师——市场潜力巨大的科技产品——科技引领与经济前景美好的产业——争议性的科技创新”。转基因技术形象的不断变化不仅会受到技术自身、政府政策、经济利益等因素的影响,也会受到媒体自身报道议题、语气、态度和立场的影响。针对媒体报道中存在的立场不平衡、主题单一、忽视消费者权益等问题,文章提出了一些改进建议,以期为转基因技术的健康发展营造良好的舆论环境。

Based on those GM news form the People’s Daily for 40 years (1972-2016), this article attempts to examine its changing history, reasons and problems of genetically modified technology’s social image reported by mainstream newspapers media’ data. The results of data analysis showed that: Our media reflect social image of GM technology from a magic magicians to products with huge market potential and technology leads and industries with good economic prospects and controversial technological innovations. GM technology’s image will be affected by various social factors, technical factors and the media itself, such as technology itself, government policy, economic interests. In order to create a good public opinion environment for the healthy development of transgenic technology, this paper puts forward some suggestions to solve the problems of unbalanced position, single theme and neglecting the rights and interests of consumers in media reports.
