摘要:: 水利事业的建制化是中国传统水利事业走向现代化的重要环节，是从晚清到民国不断探索、改革的过程。主要体现在五个方面：为发展水利事业而设立的水利机构；为水利界人士交流知识而创办的五十余种水利期刊，刊发了大量水利相关技术和行业动态的文章；水利人才的培养方面，从清末的河工研究所、水利函授教育到高校的水利科系，为水利现代化培养了人才；经过中国水利工程学会、水利委员会等早期组织的尝试和探索，全国各地成立了水利学会和分会；水利界同仁定期举办学术会议或参会。水利事业的建制化标志着水利事业在中国成为一门学科，对我国水利事业的发展有非凡意义。

Abstract:: The institutionalization of the water conservancy cause was an important step for the modernization of traditional Chinese water conservancy cause, and a process that underwent a succession of exploration and reform from the late Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China era．It is mainly reflected in five areas: the establishment of water conservancy institutes for the development of water conservancy cause; the launch of more than fifty types of water conservancy periodicals for communicating between experts in the field of water conservancy, where a great number of articles about water conservancy technology and industry trends have been published; from the river engineering institute in the late Qing Dynasty to vocational water conservancy schools to water conservancy department in high institutes, academic and applied talents facilitated the modernization of water conservancy; after the long-term exploration and tentation of Chinese Hydraulic Engineering Society and various water conservancy commissions，regional water conservancy societies and branches were established all over the country; water conservancy researchers attend or hold seminars regularly. The institutionalization of the water conservancy cause marks water conservancy has become an independent discipline in China, thus making a huge difference to the development of Chinese water conservancy cause．
