摘要:: 民国时期，广西都安县瑶人根据《广西各县苗傜民户编制通则》关于民族人口在聚落编组方面的规定，以受到同村汉人的巨大压力为由，一再提出以“民族”为单位将瑶人自编一村的要求。但官方并未因此认可瑶人的诉求，原因是在特定的历史环境下，为避免“民族”概念与“民族自决”发生联系，广西省府在多族群聚居地进行乡村治理时探索着将民族问题纳于地域空间当中，尝试将各族混合编入同一聚落的方式去融合民族间的差异。

Abstract:: In the Republic of China, the Yao people in Du’an according to " Kwangsi Ge Xian Miao Yao Min Hu Bian Zhi Tong Ze", who has repeatedly apply for a Yao people village by "national" as the unit, which subject to the enormous pressure of Han- Chinese in the village .But the official has not yet approved the appeals of the Yao people. The reason is that in the specific historical environment, to avoid “national” concept and “national self-determination” confuse each other, when the Kwangsi provincial dealing with ethnic problems is exploring to put the ethnic problems in geographical space, which try to mix together the ethnic differences by the way of all ethnic groups in the same settlement.
