民国时期吐鲁番档案中经常出现“洋车”一词，与棉花加工业有关，或因资料限制，前人还未有专门的讨论。本文利用新近公开的新疆维吾尔自治区档案馆所藏吐鲁番档案，揭示了近代吐鲁番的“洋车”系水力驱动的轧花机，光绪末年在吐俄棉花贸易兴盛的背景下由俄国传入。民国时期吐鲁番的“洋车”以工厂的方式进行经营，随之出现新的劳动组织模式，不但促进了生产效率的提高，而且体现了近代西北边疆的社会经济转型与相邻的俄（苏）之间的密切关系。
Abstract:
The term"Yangche" frequently appeared in the republican archives of Turpan, it related to cotton processing. Maybe due to lack of materials, there has been no acdemic study about it. Using recently released republican archives of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Archive, this paper reveals that the modern "Yangche" in Turpan was a cotton gin driven by hydraulic. It was introduced from Russia under the background of flourishing cotton trade between Turpan and Russia at the beginning of 20th century. Turpan’s " Yangche" in Republic period operated as the way of factory, formed a new model of labor organization. it not only promoted the improvement of cotton processing efficiency, but also reflected the intimate relationship between northwest frontier region and its neighboring Russia (Soviet union) in the process of socio-economic transformation in the modern time.
