摘要:
汉代鸮鸟形象的文物表现,通常见于器物与画像,画像资料又可按照组合对象与方式分为三类。从分布地域上看,器物相对偏北、偏西北方,画像则偏东、偏东南方;从流行的时段看,器物可能比画像更早。鸮形器物的功能偏实用性,体现出汉代人在重农理念背景下鼠害防范意识的增强,从而保护农产品的安全。鸮形器物在北边的集中发现,或许与缓解政策移民的生存焦虑有关。鸮鸟画像的象征意义可以通过信仰观念的分析予以解释。其功用应与保障死后安宁并协助升仙有关。文献资料可见视鸮鸟为恶鸟的意识,但画像中的鸮鸟却似乎多为正面形象。造成这种差异的原因比较复杂,有待于从生死观念的不同、身份主体的差异、使用目的的区别进行探索和说明。
Abstract:
The owl history relic in Han dynasty included material object and portrait. The portrait can be clarified to three styles. From distribution area, the owl material object was more north and northwest, while the portrait was more east and southeast. From popular period, the owl material object was earlier than portrait. The owl on material object might be used to relieve the Han immigration’s life anxiety, such as to prevent rodents and protect agriculture. And the owl in portrait might be used to relieve people’s death anxiety, which meant to protect seal’s peace and help it to ascent to immortality. The difference between image and document manifested that in the document the owl was a vicious bird, while the owl in image was positive. The reason for the difference was complex, reminding to explore the different concept of life and death, the subject of different identities and the purpose of use.
